Not only is this game a great callback to games like Ninja Gaiden on the NES, but The Messenger is also a fantastic sidescrolling action game that mixes things up in ways the player just doesn't see coming. The music is fantastic, the game play is engaging, and the story will keep you laughing. This is a game you should pass on to your friends.
